Web Design Courses for Adults – In Tameside
Have you always wanted to build your own website but found difficulty not knowing where to start? Perhaps you have tried those online websites offering simple website in a box solutions?
Maybe you fall into the category of having had a go, but fell at the first hurdle because there was no one to ask when things are going wrong, or what the next step is? Well this WordPress Wednesday course maybe just what you are looking for.
Why choose WordPress?
Wordpress is now considered by many to be the most popular choice for building web based content. This popular content management system (CMS) has continued to evolve over the years and many businesses and individuals are now seeing the advantages of incorporating this system within their own online presence.
What’s included in the course?
The course is run over four consecutive Wednesday evening sessions from 5pm to 8pm. By doing it this way means that we are not trying to cram it all in one day. You will also be given work to complete during the days inbetween each session. There is much more to learn about WordPress and information overload is quite often a symptom many people suffer from. My primary aim from the outset is to teach you and not just simply fill your head with what WordPress can do. I would much rather you go away having the confidence and skills you need to work on your own website.
The course starts with an introduction to Domain Hosting and Registration. The foundation of a good website relies on good hosting, regardless of what platform or structure it is built on. The course is designed for a maximum of 10 delegates at anyone time. Each delegate will require a Laptop, Wifi facilities will be provided at the venue. (details to follow)
